Prepare the fabric and machine
Choose the right fabric, for a sofa this could be leather, polyester or velvet. Lay the fabric flat on the cutting table. At YIMING we use a vacuum table to ensure the material stays in place and doesn't wrinkle. Our machines even come with an automatic correction system to prevent any misalignment.

Give us your pattern template and we can convert it into a 1:1 digital file; if the leather material needs to be laid out, our equipment can also better provide the most material-saving layout. Machine calibration and test cutting
A quick test cut will help you check fabric thickness and cutting pressure. If the test cut looks good, you're ready for a big job. If not, make adjustments in the machine's software until you're satisfied.
